I want a single serve coffee maker, but he (and cups / pods that go with it) is so expensive! Is it useful?
I want to buy the Cuisinart SS700 Serve Brewing System, one that uses the Keurig K-Cups. But the cheapest I could find it was $ 175 on Amazon! More than 24 pods (1 cup = 1pod coffee / tea) is $ 14! So expensive! But * I hate playing with the grind and filter and all morning, and I want variety in my coffee and tea, I taste the same every day. My aunt and a neighbor both the single serve coffee / tea and love it, and it really practice and I'm only heard great things about it … but it's so expensive! What do you think? Is it useful?
I do not think they worth it, besides they are too rubbish dump. But they may be your only choice if any intervention in the morning is too much effort. Personally I use a small pot of French press or mocha, because they make a delicious coffee without the waste, but you'll have to clean after each use (2-3 additional minutes). You can buy a variety of coffees (regular and flavored) in small quantities in order not to go too bland and choose another every morning to get your variety.
