Well Ive had a Mr. Coffee for about 2 years now and heard a loud POP and they darned hot plate cracked! When I called the 800 number, I was told since it was more than a year I buy a replacement unit. I told them to keep it and after reading all the latest problems have been having, I'm not going to replace another product by Mr Coffee now at all.
