What is the best way to sell my furniture?

I moved into a new house and we would get new furniture. I a coffee table with 2 end tables and two matching lamps, is a set. I feel like if I put it on ebay for shipping are that there will be crazy. I was thinking of advertising in a local newspaper, but I get nervous with people coming to my house to watch the furniture. I just got comfortable, you never know who will appeal. So, where should I sell my furniture?

Craigslist is a great place to sell things of all kinds. You still have to let people come and watch, but maybe have a friend or relative with you if you're not alone at the time. You can put on ebay and specify "Local Pickup Only". Of course, you still have to let someone come to pick it up.
