coffee date questions
Date analysis please?

I went on a date for coffee with a girl I met online. We hypothesized going out for drinks on Friday evening but had to cancel because of a friend who came to town. So I met up in front of her as she asked then walked to the nearest Starbucks. I paid for his coffee and we sat on a bench outside and talked a little more. We mostly just a small talk and asked each other questions about ourselves (im assuming this is normal for a first appointment). We went for a walk after, then she walked to her place. She told me she had a good time before she says goodbye, but There was no hug or anything like that before you go (do not know if this is normal). Before we parted ways I asked him if we can get a drink somewhere in the night for the next time and she told me. The date lasted about one hour and 15 minutes because it was just coffee (she also had duties and work on). Is this normal for a "coffee date"?

It seems pretty normal. small talk and get to know each other is what the first date is all about. Trying to determine if it is worth one second date. The good Is new agreed to another date. The only thing Hug is okay, but you should offer a second after the date or you can get labeled as one Friend …

What is the effect of coffee on blood pressure?

A Finnish study recently completed more than 24,000 citizens who no history of hypertension or high blood pressure for a period of thirteen years to try to find a causal link between Blood pressure and coffee. The age of participants between 25 and 64. The study was also necessary that they had no history of hypertension drug use and no history of stroke or heart disease.

The study results were inconclusive, leaving open the question of how much coffee drinking affects blood pressure.

During the study, 2,500 participants, about 10%, began to take some type of anti hypertension drugs. Previous studies showed that approximately 19% of non-coffee drinkers of hypertension during the study period. Moreover, what is unknown is how participants developed high blood pressure, but are either ignoring or not taking medication for it.

Part the questionnaire participants were asked to complete focused on how many cups of coffee they drink daily. The cups of coffee drunk a participant, the more likely he or she would be in the group taking anti hypertension. Thus, although there seems to be a causal link light between coffee consumption and hypertension, the risk appears to be low, and many questions remain.

For example, drinkers coffee tend to drink alcohol more than non-coffee drinkers. Although occasional use may be good for relieving stress and can even reduce diastolic blood pressure, studies have consistently shown that alcohol consumed in excess increases blood pressure. We also know that Over time, excessive consumption can damage the heart. The study did not control the consumption of alcohol.

Coffee drinkers also, in general, smoke more cigarettes than non-smokers. Smoking tends to harden the arteries and blood circulation shrink. The heart must pump harder to force blood into the arteries narrow and blood pressure increases as a result. In addition, studies have also shown that smoking break will probably lead to a decrease in blood pressure. The study did not control smoking.

Other lifestyle that come into play are the eating habits, sex, weight, exercise and salt sensitivity and consumption. Food, as we know, has a great impact on whether a person develops hypertension. Is this a person who drinks coffee more likely to have bad eating habits which can lead to hypertension?

Exercise is very beneficial for the heart and arterial system. Is a coffee drinker more likely to be sedentary than non-coffee drinker?

For years, it seems that every bit of food we put in our bodies is somehow dangerous to us. Fish is good for the heart, but we are prepared to risk eating mercury too. A vegetarian diet is good for health, but are we willing to risk bone loss? Fruits have loads of antioxidants in good health, but the sugar content in their rot our teeth?

But there is one piece of good news from the study. It appears that coffee consumption reduces the risk of actually Type 2 diabetes. At this stage, we will take all the good news we can get.

Four Things Airlines (or any company) can do to improve customer service

Customer Service Airline poor is legendary. It's cliche. It is so common that when we get great service that we think we've won the lottery, if only for a moment.

But it need not be this way. Of course, airlines have big challenges that can be barriers to providing customer service. So do many other companies that find ways to provide outstanding service to their customers. They choose to overcome their difficulties and they take care of their customers very well. And they always do.

Here are four things any of our companies Airlines could do to improve the quality of service they provide to their customers. I understand they are not already doing these things. If If it's great! But they need to do more of them, or do even better, so that their customers are beginning to see a consistent result.

1. Get management in direct contact with customers.

All levels of management should be exposed to clients. And I do not mean just on focus groups or roundtables. Members of management need to roll up their sleeves and do the work of their employees from time to time. And they should talk to customers. It's easy. Every player in the nearest airport. They find hundreds of customers sitting around waiting. I would bet my mortgage payment most these people would be happy to spend a few minutes to talk with an officer of the airline whose plane they wait to board.

The work of any Business happens at the point of customer contact. It does not happen in executive offices or board rooms. Customer facing employees and their customers are the two groups of people who know exactly how your business operates. As an entrepreneur, you will never know by reading the reports. You must obtain this information by experience. Nothing can replace direct contact with the customer.

2. Customers get involved in creating standards of customer service.

Nobody knows more about what your customers want what they do. So, get them involved. And I do not mean lengthy surveys telephone or by consultants. Talk to them like real people. Get your employees where your customers are and talk to them. Buy coffee or lunch and make him talk. Doing this on an individual basis with your employees much better results than using consultants or survey companies. If you want your customers to be honest with you, start by being authentic with them.

Then use their input to create meaningful standards in how you serve your customers. Not that you'll do whatever they want. But you must do your best in your mission, resources and context of your business. Too many companies disregard and contempt for their customers. They believe that all answers reside at the seat company. This arrogance will ruin a company. Talking to people who know. Talk to your customers.

3. Involve employees in planning and implementation of standards of customer service.

Customers will tell you what they want. Employees will help you understand how do.

The employees do the work of the company day after day. They see (and hear and feel) how things work. They know what works and what does not. They see how the company operates. They are all in the service point, which is where your company manufactures its products. Everything in society should support what is happening at the point of service. Anything that does not support a successful point of service must be questioned (and, probably, eliminated).

So as you gather information from your customers on how to better serve them, make sure your employees are part of the process. Get them involved from beginning to end. Include in the planning, information gathering, customer service standard setting and implementation.

4. Leadership must demonstrate customer service everyone is a priority.

There are many examples of employees who provide excellent service. Some people will do, no matter who runs the company. But these people tend to be exceptions. I've never seen a company providing excellent service again without the support of 100% of the senior executives of the company.

Leaders set the tone and direction of the culture of company. If leaders expect an excellent service for every customer, every time, they will naturally do what it takes to create a culture that generates such a service.

Ultimately, for a company to offer a fantastic service consistently across their organization, leaders need to be a priority. There are no alternative paths to achieving this. The company's leadership must decide to serve priority. Then they need to demonstrate to their words and actions. It should be at the heart of everything they do.

Steps one, two and three are tactical. Any company can make them. And if you do well, you will see positive results. But the long-term results, the fourth step must come first. Without it, most service gains will be short lived. They will not live beyond regular employee turnover. Finally, the motivation pushing them disappear as they lose their champions and other priority issues.

For real, sustainable improvement of the quality Customer service, airlines (and all organizations) must make a commitment at the highest level of management to provide the best service they can for each client every time without exception.

How can I make tea with a French press coffee maker?

I heard that the French press is useful for brewing loose tea leaves, however, I can not find tips for actually doing, like tea proprtions to clean water and temperature Water OK for a better extraction. I prefer answers from those who have been using this method rather than a link to a site genaric. all tips on this method of mixing would be appreciated. also flip, I prefer green tea, if that makes a difference, but I'd like some tips for both. Thank you all in advance for your help.

tea in a coffee press is generally Recommended if you make sure you remove the leaves after the tea has steeped for a few minutes. Otherwise, the tea and get very bitter oversteep quickly. Tea in the ratio of water really depends on the tea itself, and how you prefer. Some greens are very good with five grams per liter, while others need ten grams per liter to be at their best. The experiment is about the only option here. Temperature should be the normal temperature for the green, slightly below the boiling point. The tea will gradually cool off, but it is perfectly drinking for at least 45 minutes. I usually brew my tea in a white coffee press, and it works fine as long as I remember to Remove the leaves when the tea is steeped in one to three minutes. If I leave the leaves, even white tea is bitter sweet. You can always another steep lot with the same leaves.
