SOUTHPORT Talking Newspaper raised £500 from a coffee morning to bring the news to the town’s blind people. Dozens of volunteers and listeners turned up for the event. The money collected from ticket sales and a bring and buy sale will go towards the running of the free service, which provides blind and partially sighted people with local news.
