stainless steel coffee presses
titanium steel scratch?

Is it a mesh stainless steel screen cup zero titanium, or vice versa? I have a French press titanium and think of replacing the press with that included, all steel. I am concerned by small flakes of titanium or steel to land off in the coffee when the blades and press out. The original release has a polyester fabric for a screen from scratches nothing more.

The steel is usually harder than titanium, at least when the two materials are processed to hear to give their best assets. And more trouble may scratch softer material. Therefore I guess the answer is zero. However much of the rest of your question is unclear and it may be that the amount of friction between the two is so low that no wear takes place, then there could be no problem. The function of the polyester fabric can be vital in reducing the friction, so if you keep this part of the original design, the scraping will worsen any combination of metals are used.

Cuisinart DCC 2600 2600 Quebec "Quebec Cuisinart> DCC

Love this coffeemaker. My old man retired. I have this and I liked the size of the cup 14, because my husband like to take a thermos in the morning, and I should make another pot for me. We now have enough to drink coffee for two cups and I am! I like the automatic temp and control. If you drink coffee though, as we do not spend it.
