Keurig coffee maker can sweetened, diluted coffee. Help?

This is a single cup of beer, we had A few weeks ago and just now opened the package. We followed instructions to "boot" and the first cup (hot chocolate k cup) tasted watered down (even while watching the cup is filled, at times he made a very clear liquid and dark others). After this was done I removed the K-Cup and it seemed fullish; like all powder inside was not emptied into the cup. I tried twice more, using coffee instead.
