Traditional Espresso or Bean to Cup coffee machines for your business

domestic use of coffee has evolved from packets of instant coffee in the cupboard in the kitchen, elegant and sophisticated pod and capsule machines. Accordingly, our expectations of a good coffee have been raised, and as a company, it is our duty to produce high quality drinks for customers who meet these expectations. So what way to turn?

Traditional Espresso Machines

Available in different shapes and sizes: 1, 2, 3 and 4 machines group (group is where the water is distributed from, which passes through the coffee can in the group handle. A group handle can be a single group or two, allowing you to spend one or two shots of coffee depends on how much coffee room in the handle is usually around 7 or 14 grams) and semi and fully automatic (semi-automatic is where you control the amount of coffee and turn it off when you fairly, fully automatic means that the buttons have a pre-set dose and the machine will stop by its self). These machines usually have one or both arms of the steam for frothing / steam the milk, and one or two hot water outlets.

When you buy a package of traditional machines, they must understand the following basic elements:

• A mill grind coffee
• Knock-out drawer that can sit either below machine or as part of the mill, allowing you to "knock-out used coffee
• Barista Kit which may include such basic items such as a pot of moss, thermometer, palette knife, stirrer and a glass of chocolate espresso
• A water filter that is connected to a supply network cold water to prevent scale buildup in the boiler and the element,

Ideally, you will also need provide a network connection of waste. The size of the machine depends on the size of the facility or how busy you think you will. The most common is by far a group of two fully automatic, but some smaller sites have a large institutions and maybe 3 or 4.

These machines are much the theater and, in fact they are for the show that the preparation of coffee is very good and an art of barista training is extremely important and becoming capable of understanding and making good coffee takes time and practice, because it is very easy to make a bad coffee. Prices may vary from about £ 800 to £ 6,000, but remember, you get what you pay, so make sure the machine you choose is again and fully justified, including full barista training and good support service. The great thing about traditional machines is that there no major moving parts means less mistakes.

In later years traditional espresso machines are the most advanced, incorporating things such as the installation of boilers or group temperature control head that allows you to adjust the water temperature Espresso based on temperature or less of coffee brewing. Other innovations include automatic steam wands, also known as hyper chopsticks turbo rods, allowing you to automatically froth or steam your milk well without any human intervention.

Bean to Cup Machines

A bean to cup machine does exactly what it says! The fresh coffee beans are placed inside the machine and the pressure of a button the machine automatically grinds beans and makes coffee and milk in your cup.

Bean to Cup machines, such as coffee machines Jura are quick and easy, and make the quality of fresh coffee at the touch of a button. What you must remember this type of system is that there are many parts moving even more to possibly go wrong and it is necessary for the daily cleaning that must be met otherwise your coffee will not be so great the next day!

This type of system is ideal for a restaurant pub where the staff training can sometimes be a problem, it is also ideal for convenience stores or gas stations where take-out coffee may be required. Some smaller machines require the installation or very little training and can be fed reservoir, so no need for plumbing. These machines are also generally a characteristic shape of the upper level instead of a water filter to prevent the accumulation of tartar. It usually takes between 30 and 50 seconds of pressure on button to fill the cup, Depending on the size of the cup and the type of drink selection. Some machines can produce more volume two drinks milk at a time when most be two black coffees at a time, an essential feature for some very busy sites.

As time passed, even the grain cup machine has developed and is now using different combinations depending on fresh beans, fresh milk or a moment / milk powder instant hot chocolate and instant coffee.

The various machines are designed to produce anything from 50 cups a day more than 500 per day. The cost of these programs can vary from less than £ 1,000 to well over £ 10,000, it is important that you make the right choice.

Summary – Traditional vs. Espresso bean to cup

The traditional machines are probably those who want the theatricality of the preparation of coffee. The advantage is that they make excellent coffee, so long as those who in fact are fully trained. A combination of machine and training depth can produce the true Italian coffee experience.

Bean to Cup machines are fast, easy and require training of highly bit. The machines will produce roughly the same coffee every time the buttons are pressed, either 16 or 60 times, but remember, they must be maintained and cleaned on a daily basis or problems will arise very quickly.

How ground coffee should I use for 48 ounces of water? And 96 ounces?

I just got a drip coffee from a coffee shop that has closed, but I do not know how the ratio of coffee to water. I have a grinder and a scale so I can weigh the beans after they are fully, but I do not know how much they should weigh. So how much should weigh the reasons for a pot of half (48 oz)? And how Should they weigh a full jar (96 oz)?

I roast my own beans. Since the beans are of different sizes and I have not want to waste by grinding before the measurement, I use a ladder as well. The SCAA (about as expert as you can get coffee) recommends 10 grams or 0.36 ounces per 6 oz (7 grams per 125 ml) cup that the appropriate measure for brewed coffee. I weigh the beans before grinding and add an extra gram for some reason lost in the mill. So: 80g for 48 oz jar and twice for 96 oz

coffee maker with thermal carafe
Should I buy a coffee maker with a thermal carafe?

Coffee lovers please help me. My seven years coffee maker glass carafe old just died. I am in mourning. It burns the coffee so quickly – so I would disconnect after the coffee. My first cup was hot. My second cup I would have to be heated in the microwave. Yes. no kidding. So I thought – would be a thermal carafe keep the coffee warm without burning it? Do thermal carafes works best? Thank you.

Coffee is best right after brewing. If she stays in one place more hot after brewing is bitter because the heat, in addition to burn a little water, changing the chemical composition of coffee. Thermal carafe brewers resolve eliminating the problem of cooking the coffee – which is why use thermal carafe coffee or servers Thermal Airpot.

automatic coffee espresso machine
Do you know of a cappuccino machine that automatically grinds coffee (not prepackaged capsules) and milk steamers?

My wife briefly showed a picture of an automatic espresso machine / cappuccino maker that grinds the coffee and smokes milk all in one. I know there some very expensive models, but apparently it was less than $ 500. Any thoughts?

The espresso machine that grinds coffee beans is called "super automatic espresso machine. One model is the cheapest Saeco Spidem Villa – you can get is about $ 500 and it has very good comments. The page in the link below is a brief description of the main features and also a link to a video where you can see the Saeco Villa action. I hope it helps.
