Most presses are very good. They measure four ounces in cups so that the 4-cup will make a 16 ounce cup. The biggest problem is water having it hot enough. The "hot" on a faucet water cooler is not hot enough, but if you can bring it to boil a kettle or microwave that works. Plastic is less fragile but it stains and keep the flavors of glass will not retain flavors and is easy to clean, but may break accidentally. If you brew tea in the coffee, you get the tea that has the flavor of coffee. You can add additional tea to make stronger tea, but I would not recommend mixing more, it will become bitter by tannins released.
